We are seeking a Behavior Technician to join our team! You will be responsible for implementing effective treatment plans to clients under the age of 21 in an individual setting.
Responsibilities:
- Should possess an understanding of autism and how to treat the deficits and behaviors associated with the diagnosis
- Provide one on one in-home and community-based Applied Behavioral Analysis therapy
- Collect data to monitor the progress and effectiveness of the individualized treatment plan and report progress
- Support BCBA with training families on implementing individualized treatment plans
- Maintain clear lines of communication with families, supervisors and other applicable parties
- Ability to work 20-30 hours a week
Qualifications:
- Certified as a Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) is a bonus but not required at the moment.
- A demonstrated ability to work with confidential information
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills (this role requires you to build rapport with the clients and families you work with)
- 1+ years of experience working with children and/or adolescents on the autism spectrum and with developmental disabilities (preferred)
- Prospective candidates must be able to commute to their assigned clients' home to be considered for this role
