- Pay range is between $64,400 to $78,800 annually. Can increase based on experience with possible increases after 6 months from date of hire.

- Conduct comprehensive assessments and reassessments addressing broad range of life domains and develop person-centered, holistic, whole health oriented, strengths-based and recovery-oriented service plan with the client
- Provide person-centered, community-based individual and group counseling services in a variety of therapeutic modalities with attention to cultural relevance and cultural and recovery competency
- Deliver client services based on the service plan, including visiting clients at their home and at other community locations accessible to clients
- Provide client advocacy in attaining services and assistance in areas such as employment, housing, medical resources, financial assistance, legal advocacy, and transportation
- Provide integrated and holistic services to meet the range of clients’ whole health care needs and based in recovery principles. Provide coordinated services in compliance with relevant State, County, and City standards, including meeting expectations of the applicable systems, including mental health, substance abuse, domestic violence treatment, and/or problem gambling
- Prepares concise, complete, and accurate progress notes and program documentation according to agency policy and system standards. Completes all the required documentation and reports relevant to public payors, such as Medicaid and other third-party payors, such as private insurers, in a timely and complete manner
- Expected to meet program paperwork / documentation standards. Meet program performance and/or productivity standards
- Plans, and directs work assignments for bilingual, culturally competent direct-service staff and/or volunteers/students: monitors performance of assigned staff and conducts timely performance reviews; approves salary increases per agency budget and policies. Takes formal corrective action to ensure high quality consumer services, including input to dismiss employee or volunteer; resolves complaints and grievances lodged by assigned staff or volunteer. Responsible for screening, interviewing and hiring new employees. Trains and orients new employees on program work assignments as well as agency policies and procedures
- Plans, develops, and conducts training both in-house and in the community; provides and arranges for formal staff training; provides on-going consultation to staff; arranges for appropriate case consultation by other professionals, as needed
- Participates in training, meetings, consultations, and conferences
- Attends all agency, program and team meetings, in-service trainings, and supervision

- Master's degree in social work or social/behavioral science; OR
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in social work or social/ behavioral science plus three (3) years social services experience; OR
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent plus four (4) years social services experience.
- Knowledge of: principles of recovery-based services, characteristics of mental and emotional illness; current social/economic problems; interview techniques; individual and group behavior; and simple treatment methods.
- Ability to: work as a team member with professional and support staff; analyze and draw conclusions from case
- Ability to provide effective and respectful quality care and services that are responsive to diverse cultural beliefs and practices. Prefer fluency in Khmer language.
- Effective ability to navigate a personal computer. Competency in use of the Microsoft Office and other relevant software for word processing, calendaring, email, and data entry. Efficiently research and perform various tasks via the internet.
- Must have reliable transportation. If using a personal or an agency vehicle to fulfill job duties, must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable under ACRS’s auto policy. If using a personal vehicle, must have current auto insurance including coverage for work-related business.
- Master’s degree in social work plus two (2) years providing direct human services and one year of experience leading, directing, and/or managing staff; OR
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field plus four (4) years of providing direct human services and one year of experience leading, directing, and/or managing staff.
- Ability to provide effective and respectful quality care and services that are responsive to diverse cultural beliefs and practices. Prefer fluency in Japanese.
- Knowledge of: principles of recovery-based services, characteristics of mental and emotional illness; current social/economic problems; interview techniques; individual and group behavior; and simple treatment methods
- Knowledge of: appropriate state and federal laws and regulations, basic knowledge of psychotropic medications, knowledge and application of several treatment methods, principle and practice of social work, principles and characteristics of mental and emotional illness (long term), current social/economic problems, interview techniques, individual and group behavior, community support model, use of PDR, DSM V.
- Ability to: conduct therapeutic sessions; work as a team member with professional and support staff; speak and write clearly and effectively; analyze and draw conclusions from case records; apply casework principles to individual situations; exercise mature judgment and organize own work; work under pressure; plan and direct work of others; teach and train staff, determine program needs.
