Job Overview:
A detail-oriented Junior Production Accountant to support the financial management of our ReelShort productions. This role will be critical in ensuring accurate financial tracking and reporting for all production-related expenses, while also handling paperwork processing and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The ideal candidate will have a background in accounting or finance, strong organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
· Cost Tracking & Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of all production costs, ensuring up-to-date financial tracking.
· Paperwork Processing:
Send and track payroll documents, including contracts and invoices. Ensure all financial transactions are properly documented and approved.
· Financial Compliance:
Ensure all transactions comply with financial regulations and company policies. Prepare financial cost reports as needed.
· Coordination & Communication:
Act as a liaison between the production team and the accounting department. Communicate financial information to production teams, ensuring paperwork is signed accurately and promptly.
Job Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field (production-related degrees will also be considered).
· Prior experience in production accounting, film, or TV industries preferred.
· Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Excel.
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
· Fluency in Mandarin is required due to international communication.
· Must be available to work on-site in Culver City, CA for 4 days a week.
