Job Description
Canva is a high-growth SaaS company valued at $32B, and in an exciting phase of growth: we've surpassed 220 million monthly active users globally and are continuing to grow rapidly across Enterprise, and international markets.
Where and how you can work
Our flagship office is in Sydney, Australia, but we've made our way from down under, to a hub San Francisco, which is now home to our US operations, although this role is fully remote from Los Angeles.
About the role
We’re looking for a Billing Operations Manager to join our Revenue Accounting team. This individual contributor role will support Canva’s Enterprise customers through accurate, timely, and customer-first billing operations—owning the invoicing process end-to-end and resolving billing inquiries with care and precision. You’ll partner closely with Sales, Customer Success, and Finance Systems to ensure a seamless billing experience from contract to cash.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, has a strong operational mindset, and is excited to collaborate cross-functionally to scale billing systems and workflows. You’ll also play a key role in major transformation initiatives—including the Salesforce CPQ redesign and Zuora implementation—that will set the foundation for how we bill at scale.
What you'll do
Execute day-to-day billing operations for Enterprise sales, including invoice generation, customer onboarding and billing adjustments.
Respond to customer billing inquiries and resolve issues thoughtfully, delivering a high-quality billing experience.
Partner with Sales, Deal Desk, Customer Success, and Finance Systems to ensure billing accuracy and completeness.
Contribute to systems transformation, including our Salesforce CPQ redesign and Zuora implementation.
Help design and document scalable, repeatable billing workflows as Canva expands across products, geographies, and customer segments.
Identify and implement process improvements to reduce manual effort and increase efficiency and accuracy.
Maintain strong documentation and uphold billing policies, controls, and audit-readiness standards.
What we're looking for
Experience in billing, order management, revenue operations, or a similar operational finance role, ideally in SaaS or a high-growth tech company.
Familiarity with quote-to-cash systems; experience with Salesforce, NetSuite, or Zuora is a strong plus.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain billing details clearly to both internal teams and external customers.
Detail-oriented and highly organized, with a strong ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
A collaborative, proactive approach and a desire to improve systems and processes.
A customer-first mindset—balancing operational accuracy with exceptional customer service.
