The Courtyard Bistro is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Bistro Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our guests with efficiency and courtesy. This position is ideal for individuals with a background in restaurant customer service who are passionate about providing high-quality hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Excellent Service: Greet guests warmly, take accurate food and beverage orders, and ensure timely delivery. Address and resolve any guest concerns or requests promptly and professionally.
- Ensure Efficiency: Maintain a high level of service efficiency, including accurate order processing and adherence to Bistro standards.
- Manage Bistro Operations: Keep the Bistro area clean, organized, and well-stocked. Follow all procedures for opening and closing, including cash handling and tip reporting.
- Communicate Effectively: Work collaboratively with team members and other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience. Communicate clearly with guests and accommodate special requests or dietary needs.
- Follow Compliance: Adhere to health and safety regulations, including food handling and sanitation practices. Abide by hotel policies and procedures to uphold service standards.
- Resolve Issues: Handle guest complaints or issues effectively and escalate to management as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or customer service role is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and cash.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Positive attitude with a commitment to delivering outstanding guest service.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Capable of lifting and carrying items up to 20 lbs.
- Dexterity to handle various tasks, including serving food and beverages.
