Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in applied behavior analysis and experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing direct support to clients in various settings. The BCBA will play a crucial role in improving the quality of life for individuals through effective behavioral interventions.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to assess behavioral needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement evidence-based behavioral therapy techniques tailored to each client's unique needs.
- Collect and analyze data to monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
- Provide training and supervision to behavior technicians and other staff members on best practices in applied behavior analysis.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation, including patient records, intake assessments, and progress notes while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with advancements in the field of behavioral health.
Qualifications
- Board Certification in Behavior Analysis (BCBA) is required.
- Experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities is essential.
- Proficiency in applied behavior analysis techniques and methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and patient assessment practices.
- Familiarity with special education frameworks and strategies for working with individuals with disabilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
