Behavioral Fluency is a growing ABA company that provides high-quality, individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children ages 2–10 in a play-based, natural environment teaching setting. Our child-led approach combines the latest in evidence-based practices with a nurturing, social environment that encourages engagement, communication, and independence.
Our sister program and second location, BX HQ, is an inclusive social club for teens and young adults with disabilities. This program focuses on social skills, vocational readiness, independent living, and leisure skills through fun, structured activities in a laid-back environment. BX HQ offers both insurance-based and private-pay programs, including open gym times, job readiness sessions, cooking and life skills workshops, and group social events.

REPORTS TO: Clinical Director and Executive Director
RESPONSBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Conduct behavioral and skill assessments to identify individualized goals focusing on core deficits of autism.
- Develop child-led, play-based treatment plans and skill acquisition programs aligned with the principles of ABA and the Behavioral Fluency mission.
- Supervise and train Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) in implementing teaching procedures, prompt fading, reinforcement strategies, and accurate data collection.
- Monitor Learner progress through data analysis, adapting interventions to maximize outcomes.
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and design individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on identified functions of behavior.
- Create thorough, high-quality documentation, including treatment plans, FBAs, progress reports, and notes, meeting all company and funder requirements.
- Provide direct services as needed to model teaching strategies, probe Learner skills, or address immediate treatment needs.
- Collaborate with the treatment team, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure consistent and effective implementation of interventions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for families, providing ongoing training on ABA strategies and supporting skill generalization.
- Stay current with research and professional development in ABA, incorporating best practices into daily work.
- Adhere to Behavioral Fluency policies, funder requirements, and BACB ethical guidelines while maintaining strict confidentiality and protecting PHI.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, or a related field.
- Current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing with the BACB.
- Licensed Behavior Analyst in good standing with the State of Nevada ABA Board.
- Meets BACB supervisor requirements.
- Experience with assessments such as PEAK, ABLLS-R, and Vineland.
- Proficient in child-led, play-based interventions and Natural Environment Teaching (NET) approaches.
- Skilled in Behavioral Skills Training (BST) for staff and caregivers.
