We’re seeking a dependable and self-directed Back of House team member to join our tight-knit team and take on a leadership role in our small kitchen. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who thrives in a focused, independent environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality food service.
About the Role:
Our kitchen is compact and efficient, so we’re looking for someone who is comfortable working solo or with minimal support during shifts, while still maintaining professionalism, speed, and attention to detail. Leadership in this role means being proactive, staying organized, and helping improve systems in real time.
Responsibilities:
Execute prep and service in a small kitchen environment
Oversee kitchen operations, ensuring smooth communication with FOH
Train and support BOH team members as needed
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and organization
Assist with inventory management, ordering, and prep lists
Adapt quickly to changing situations and help find creative, efficient solutions
Qualifications:
1–2 years minimum kitchen experience (lead or supervisory experience preferred)
Strong ability to work independently and self-manage in a small kitchen setting
Clear and effective communication with FOH and team members
Reliable, organized, and solution-oriented
Food Handler Certification (or willingness to obtain)
