Position Overview:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our Finance

team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in business, finance, or

accounting who is looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.

The Bookkeeper will be responsible for daily transactional accounting tasks and will play

a key role in supporting accurate financial operations.

This position works directly under the Finance Manager and in close collaboration with

the Financial Analyst to ensure timely and accurate financial data entry and processing.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable & Receivables:

● Enter accounts payable (AP), cash receipts, and vendor data into Accounting

Seed (Salesforce platform).

● Monitor the Accounts Payable email inbox and ensure large vendor bills are

entered promptly and accurately.

● Assist with vendor communications and help maintain accurate vendor records.

Payroll:

● Process biweekly payroll using ADP, ensuring accuracy and compliance with

payroll policies and deadlines.

● Collaborate with the Financial Analyst to validate payroll data and resolve

discrepancies.

General Ledger & Journal Entries:

● Assist in posting journal entries and ensuring financial data integrity in the

general ledger.

● Help with the preparation of supporting documentation as needed.

Contracts, Subcontracts & Warranties:

● Enter and maintain subcontract and warranty records in Accounting Seed.

● Ensure proper documentation and verify the accuracy of contracts and insurance

requirements.

● Track and update insurance documentation for subcontractors and vendors.

Administrative Support & Collaboration:

● Provide financial and administrative support to both the Finance Manager and

the Financial Analyst.

● Assist with special projects, reporting tasks, and audits as required.

Qualifications:

● Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance (required).

● An internship or up to two years of accounting or finance experience is preferred.

● Basic understanding of accounting principles and general ledger functions.

● Familiarity with Salesforce and Accounting Seed is a plus but not required.

● Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic financial software.

● High attention to detail, organization, and accuracy.

● Strong communication and teamwork skills.

● Eagerness to learn and grow within a collaborative finance team.

Preferred Traits:

● Proactive, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-

driven environment.

● Interest in developing a long-term career in finance or accounting.

● Comfortable working in a cloud-based system and learning new technologies.

● Trustworthy, accurate and detail oriented.
