We are seeking a team player with positive attitudes and a high level of energy. Applicants must have excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as good computer skills, including some experience with QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, and Payroll experience.
- Responsibilities and Duties:
- Bookkeeping with maintenance of cash & depreciation schedules
- Accounts payable and receivable for clients
- Bank, credit cards & investment reconciliations
- Process payroll and manage payroll taxes, quarterly returns, annual 1099s and issuing W-2
- Prepare sales and use tax returns
- Prepare Form 571-L
- Prepare City business license
- Client Correspondence
- Vendor contact to resolve billing discrepancies
- Manage mails
- Qualifications and Skills:
- Prior experience in the CPA Firm or Business Management industry is a plus
- Experience with QuickBooks or a similar accounting software
- Strong computer skills: MS Outlook, Excel and Word
- Follows through on responsibilities and able to meet multiple deadlines
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
- Must have strong organizational and time management skills with ability to prioritize
