Job Title: Bouncer / Security Personnel
Location: Midway Bowling Center, Carlisle, PA
Reports To: General Manager
Position Summary:
Midway Bowling Center is seeking a responsible, observant, and professional Bouncer to join our team. The Bouncer will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and enjoyment of our guests by maintaining a secure, welcoming environment. This includes monitoring the premises, enforcing rules, handling disturbances, and supporting the staff with crowd control during peak hours, events, and late-night shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests upon entry and ensure proper age verification for alcohol service.
- Monitor the facility to ensure safety and compliance with center policies.
- De-escalate conflicts calmly and professionally, removing unruly individuals if necessary.
- Perform routine walkthroughs of the lanes, arcade, and bar areas.
- Prevent entry of intoxicated, disruptive, or otherwise inappropriate individuals.
- Collaborate with bartenders and management to identify and address potential issues.
- Assist in crowd control during special events, league nights, and weekend rushes.
- Ensure that exits are unobstructed and that emergency protocols are followed if needed.
- Report all incidents to management and document as required.
Qualifications:
- Previous security, military, law enforcement, or customer service experience preferred.
- Must be 21 years or older.
- Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick, sound decisions.
- Physically capable of standing for extended periods and handling physical altercations if necessary.
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $5.00 - $12.00 per hour
