Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Busser/Barback to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced hospitality environment. The Busser/Barback plays a crucial role in supporting bartenders and servers by ensuring the bar area is well-stocked, clean, and organized. This position is ideal for individuals looking to gain experience in the food and beverage industry while providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Assist bartenders by restocking supplies, including liquor, beer, wine, and mixers.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Help in preparing garnishes and other ingredients for drinks.
- Communicate effectively with bartenders and other staff to ensure smooth operations during busy shifts.
- Support catering events as needed, ensuring timely service and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor inventory levels and report any shortages or issues to management.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests and assisting with their needs.
- Follow all health and safety regulations within the kitchen and bar areas.
Skills
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and customers.
- Experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of basic food safety practices within the food industry.
- A proactive approach to cleaning and maintaining a tidy workspace in the kitchen and bar areas.
- Willingness to learn about various beverages, cocktails, and bar operations.
