Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Breakfast Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests during the breakfast hours. You will ensure that the breakfast area is clean, well-stocked, and inviting, while also assisting with food preparation and presentation. Responsibilities
- Prepare and set up the breakfast area prior to service, ensuring all food items are fresh and appealing.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast station throughout service.
- Assist guests by providing information about menu items and accommodating special requests.
- Monitor food inventory levels and replenish as needed to ensure a continuous supply.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives for food preparation.
- Clean dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment in accordance with health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with the catering team to support any special events or large group breakfasts.
- Utilize POS systems (such as Aloha POS or OpenTable) for managing guest orders when necessary.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest inquiries and needs.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a hospitality or food service role is preferred but not required.
- Skills in food preparation and catering are a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Flexibility to work early morning shifts as required.
- Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous but not mandatory.
