We are seeking a dedicated and friendly part time Breakfast Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests during breakfast service. Your attention to detail and commitment to food safety will ensure that our guests enjoy a clean and satisfying dining experience. This position is ideal for individuals with a passion for hospitality and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and set up the breakfast area, ensuring all food items are presented attractively and in accordance with food safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of the breakfast area, including tables, counters, and serving stations.
- Monitor food inventory levels and assist with restocking as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly and assisting them with their breakfast selections.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently when necessary.
- Ensure all food items are fresh and safe for consumption, adhering to food safety guidelines.
- Assist in cleaning up the breakfast area at the end of service, including washing dishes and disposing of waste properly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food items.
Experience
- Previous experience in culinary or food service roles is preferred but not required.
- A background in hospitality or hotel environments is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is essential.
- Experience with cash handling is beneficial.
- A willingness to help others and work as part of a team is crucial for success in this role.
