Duties
- Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and standards.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems, including Aloha POS and Micros POS, to process transactions efficiently.
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including kitchen equipment and dining spaces.
- Handle cash transactions accurately while adhering to cash handling procedures.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines during food preparation and serving.
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining a tidy dining environment for guests.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
Experience
- Previous experience in a quick service or fast food restaurant is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and sanitation standards is essential.
- Culinary experience is a plus, as well as knowledge of retail math for accurate cash management.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
