Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Busser to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our dining area is clean, organized, and welcoming for guests. As a Busser, you will assist servers and kitchen staff by maintaining the cleanliness of tables and dining areas, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Clear and clean tables promptly after guests leave to prepare for the next customers.
- Assist servers in delivering food and beverages to tables as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including floors and surfaces, ensuring a tidy environment at all times.
- Help set up and break down dining areas for special events or busy service periods.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely service.
- Assist with food handling tasks as required, following safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Support team members in various tasks to enhance overall restaurant operations.
Experience
- Previous experience in a customer service role within the food industry is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with restaurant operations or food handling practices is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help others are essential traits for success in this role.
