Purpose of Position and Scope of Responsibility:
The Business Analyst leads technical communication and requirements gathering efforts with clients as well as creating detailed business, functional and design documentation for the development and implementation of mTrade software solutions. The incumbent will work with development to enhance applications and coordinate the movement of enhancements through the entire software development life cycle (SDLC). The Business Analyst is a primary technical point of contact for a client so excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
This position serves as the crucial link between mTrade's clients and our software development team. It will play a pivotal role in understanding and translating our clients' business needs into technical requirements, enabling us to develop and enhance software products that expand their business capabilities.
Principal Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as their primary point of contact.
- Guides users in formulating requirements, advises on alternatives and the implications of new or revised modifications.
- Work closely with the development team to ensure solutions meet client requirements and data integrity is maintained.
- Provide technical analysis and troubleshooting.
- Participate in project planning, tracking progress, and ensuring timely delivery of solutions.
Experience
Required- 3 year(s): Technical business analysis in a complex Microsoft software environment
- • In-depth knowledge of Transact-SQL • Experience with design concepts and methods, as well as UML and RUP standards • Ability to develop documentation using UML design concepts. • Solid understanding of database design and ability to read and write complex SQL statements, Stored procedures • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Project and Visio • In-depth knowledge of operating systems (Windows 7, 8.1 and 10)
