We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will leverage your problem-solving skills and passion for data to analyze operational data, streamline business processes, and deliver actionable insights that drive decision-making.
You will manage and enhance key reporting functions, including monthly sales reports, ad hoc analyses, and data visualizations, while maintaining and improving tools like Monday.com and Power BI. Collaborating closely with stakeholders, you'll gather requirements, identify areas for optimization, and implement solutions that support strategic objectives. Your contributions will play a vital role in improving efficiency, driving innovation, and supporting the organization's growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities as a Business Analyst:
- Maintain and iterate monthly sales reports.
- Manage, enhance, and fulfill requests for operational and sales reports, ensuring timely delivery and accuracy for stakeholders, customers, and sales representatives.
- Conduct ad hoc analyses and develop impactful data visualizations using Excel, Power BI, and other tools to address business challenges.
- Head the data aggregation and visualization for the semi-annual sales retreat.
- Develop and maintain tools, processes, and documentation in platforms such as Monday.com to support Sales and Operations data, ensuring clarity around KPIs, metrics, and calculations.
- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization based on data analysis and collaboration with stakeholders.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in data analytics to drive innovation and efficiency within the organization.
What We're Looking For in a Business Analyst:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or in a similar role.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, metrics, and business needs.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Power Query and Power Pivot.
- Proficiency in SQL Fundamentals.
- Experience with business process modeling techniques and data visualization tools (Power BI, Qlik, Tableau, or similar).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
- The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, as well as independently in a fast-paced setting.
- Attention to detail and a passion for problem-solving.
- Willingness to learn new tools and methodologies to solve business problems. Skilled in both written and verbal, with the ability to influence stakeholders are essential for success in this role.
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience with creating end-to-end reporting solutions in Power BI.
- Experience with Modern Data Warehousing technologies.
- Experience querying data via open API.
- Experience Designing Business Solutions in the Monday.com Platform or similar SaaS Platform.
- Experience with the Samsara Platform and its reporting capabilities.
- Programming experience in Python, Powershell, or other scripting languages.
- Experience in Logistics/Supply Chain.
