This is a dynamic and relationship-driven role where you’ll play a key part in growing our business through strategic partnerships. As our Business Development Manager, your primary responsibility is to build and maintain relationships with referral partners.,
Your day-to-day work will involve a mix of outbound sales calls (17-20 per day), hosting breakfast or lunch meetings, and attending events to connect with potential partners. Your ultimate goal is to generate referrals and ensure our company remains a trusted and top-of-mind resource in the restoration industry.
This role requires a proactive attitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to balance structured outreach with creative problem-solving. You’ll need to be organized, as each interaction must be documented in our CRM system to track progress and manage follow-ups effectively.
Restoration 1 is a full-service disaster restoration company and specializes in water damage mitigation, mold remediation, fire and smoke clean up as well as re-construction.

Primary Responsibilities
- Actively develop and nurture relationships with trade and referral partners, including but not limited to plumbers, HVAC, insurance agents, property managers, HOAs and maintenance managers with the goal of driving more business to Restoration 1.'
- Be able to make 15-20 visits a day.
- Schedule and conduct meetings, lunches, and events to strengthen partner relationships.
- Attend networking meetings (BNI, Chambers, etc)
- Meet with potential customers and give them the confidence they called the right company and that we will take care of them.
- Document all interactions into CRM so company leadership and the team have an accurate picture of your activities as well as the status of referral sources.
- Social media marketing – use pictures and information from team and promote on social media to increase awareness of Restoration 1 and our services.
- Attend marketing events as required. Set up, take down marketing displays.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment with a demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Proactive attitude with a passion for networking and marketing.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently.
- Previous experience in business development, sales, or referral marketing is a plus.
