Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving growth and expanding our market presence through strategic planning and effective collaboration. The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation skills, a deep understanding of customer relationship management, and experience with software tools such as Hubspot. You will play a pivotal role in identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and managing projects that align with our business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business growth and market expansion.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through research and networking.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with potential clients to secure profitable partnerships.
- Collaborate with sales teams to enhance customer relationship management efforts.
- Utilize Hubspot and other software tools to track leads, manage client interactions, and analyze market trends.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to foster loyalty and repeat business.
- Conduct market analysis to identify emerging trends and competitive landscape.
- Travel daily - a majority of time is spent on outside sales calls. The position may occasionally require you to work evenings and weekends.
- Meet or exceed monthly sales goals.
- Be prepared for weekly meetings with the Sales Manager.
- Conduct weekly presentations to insurance agents, property management companies or other referral partners.
Requirements
- Proven experience in business development or related field.
- Strong strategic planning skills with the ability to execute effectively.
- Familiarity with customer relationship management systems, particularly Hubspot.
- Strong collaboration skills, working effectively across departments to achieve common goals.
- Ability to analyze market data and adapt strategies accordingly.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Exude a high level of professionalism, honesty and integrity.
- The ability to make face to face cold calls while demonstrating good listening skills and poise.
- Results driven attitude and self-starter.
- Excellent organization skills and a strong attention to detail.

Pay: $63,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
