Property and Casualty Sales Manager Job Summary
Sales Managers are responsible for maintaining agency quotas by managing and training Agency Producers. Sales Managers will create and initiate sales activities (from lead generation) through face to face, referral, direct marketing and outside activities in an assigned territory. A Managers goal is to Implement the agreed upon Agency Marketing Plan which will meet both personal and business goals of expanding a wide customer base in the assigned marketing area. Managers work with the sales and support team for the achievement of customer satisfaction, revenue generation, and long-term goals that are in line with the company vision and values.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for consulting and marketing insurance products and services that are customized to meet individual needs.
- Develop technical selling skills and product knowledge in property & casualty and life insurance.
- Implement the business plan of the Fleming’s Impacting U Insurance Agency, which details activities to follow during the fiscal year, which will focus on meeting or exceeding sales quota.
- Complete intensive weekly trainings and ongoing Continuation Education as mandated by the State of California.
- Manage a team of Producers; prepare proposals for the sales interview, and complete cross marketing efforts to all households.
- Demonstrates the ability to carry on a business conversation with individuals and business owners and decision makers.
- Sells consultatively and makes recommendations to prospects and clients resulting in asset and income protection.
- Develops a database of qualified leads through referrals, trade shows, events, telephone canvassing, face to face cold calling, direct mail, email, and networking.
- Responsible for identifying and building an effective Centers of Influence Network with customers to maximize revenue.
- Gather and submit detailed business information for underwriting, pricing, and presentation of insurance proposals.
- Maintains accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities within their assigned territory, including the use of Microsoft Excel to maintain accurate records to maximize territory potential.
- Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics and codes while ensuring that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
- Participates and contributes to the development of educational programs offered to clients, prospects and vendors.

- Maintain contact with Operations Manager and make weekly and monthly reports in a timely manner.
- Demonstrate ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees.

- Job Specifications:
- 4-6 years of sales experience in the insurance, mortgage, or real-estate industry or any combination of sales and customer service related experience
- Experience with computers and software programs a plus.
- Strong managerial experience
- Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
- Willingness to travel and work with a team of professionals.
- Proven ability to achieve sales quotas.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
