WHO we’re looking for:

We are looking for a Business Planning Analyst who will be responsible for supporting the organization's operational processes and contractual obligations. Additionally, this role will support strategic planning processes by gathering and analyzing data, evaluating business trends, and preparing reports to aid in decision-making. This role involves collaborating with various departments to align business objectives, improve efficiency, and optimize performance.
Role and Responsibilities:
  • Support financial reconciliation related to operational processes and contractual obligations.
  • Responsible for gathering and organizing data from various sources, including both internal and external databases.
  • Able to extract valuable insights and create informative dashboards, reports, and presentations tailored for different levels of management by utilizing advanced data analysis tools and software such as Power BI, Excel, SQL, Tableau.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and other essential business metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Conducts thorough analyses of the company's current performance, market trends, and industry benchmarks.
  • Provide valuable inputs for strategic planning and decision-making processes through the use of sophisticated financial models and forecasting techniques.
  • Offer insightful recommendations for potential business opportunities and cost-saving measures, ensuring that the organization remains competitive and efficient.
  • Works closely with various functional groups, including finance, business management, and account management teams to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Facilitate seamless coordination and alignment among different departments by fostering strong relationships and maintaining open lines of communication.
  • Identifying areas where business operations can be improved by leveraging their expertise in data analytics and process optimization.
  • Propose innovative solutions and implement appropriate tools and systems to enhance productivity and streamline reporting procedures.
Required Experience and Education:
  • 2-4 years experience preferred in business analysis, financial analysis, or similar role.
  • Bachelors degree preferred in Data Analytics Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software for dashboard development (such as Power BI, Excel, SQL, Tableau) is essential. Familiarity with statistical testing, modeling, forecasting, and project management principles is beneficial. Knowledge of ERP systems, particularly SAP, is advantageous.
Necessary Skills and Attributes:
  • Self-motivated individual with the ability to thrive in a team-based or independent environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organization skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Limited supervision and the exercise of discretion.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with excellent communication and presentation abilities, are crucial for success in this position. Attention to detail and high organizational skills are equally important.
  • Analytical thinking, strategic planning, collaboration and teamwork, results-oriented mindset, adaptability to change.

Specific vision abilities required by the job include ability to distinguish the nature of objects by using the eye. Operate a computer keyboard and view a video display terminal between 50% - 95% of work time, including prolonged periods of time. Requires considerable (90%+) work utilizing high visual acuity/detail, numeric/character distinction, and moderate hand/finger dexterity.

Performs work under time schedules and stress which are normally periodic or cyclical, including time sensitive deadlines, intellectual challenge, some language barriers, and project management deadlines. May require working additional time beyond normal schedule and periodic travel.
