Your journey starts now—protect and innovate with ManTech!ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Human Resources Analyst to support our DoD contract out of Alexandria, VA.
The Human Resource Analyst will provide onsite support to government leadership in the Business Operations Division of the Secretariat for Special Operations (SSO). This individual will have a strong interest in Human Resources / Human Capital in support of a DoD organization that supports the special operations community.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- The Human Resource Analyst will provide onsite support to government leadership in the
Business Operations Division of the Secretariat for Special Operations (SSO). The Human
Resource Analyst will be responsible for the end-to-end staffing process and ensure compliance
with federal merit system principles and U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM)
regulations - Assist in the full life cycle of federal staffing actions, including classification, RPA, job analysis, vacancy announcements, applicant qualifications review, and referral list creation.
- Support hiring managers with recruitment-related correspondence, reporting, and compliance tracking.
- Maintain accurate and secure HR records, tracking data in shared systems and databases.
- Receive, manage, and organize general HR inquiries, including mail, telephone calls, emails, employment verification requests and other HR related inquiries.
- Prioritize multiple assignments and meet strict deadlines in a high-volume staffing environment.
- Collaborate with team members to improve staffing processes and maintain adherence to internal controls and audit requirements.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree and at least 5 years of experience in human resources, organizational development, training support, or process improvement.
- Experience with the drafting and coordination of the development and review of HR policies,
standard operating procedures, and job aids. - Experience using a tracking system for employee evaluations and within-grade step increases and to process performance management related personnel action requests accurately and in a timely manner.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong Oral and Written Communications.
Clearance Requirement:
- Active DoD Secret with the ability to obtain Top Secret / SCI
