Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Busser to join our team in a dynamic restaurant environment. As a Busser, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have an exceptional dining experience. Your primary responsibility will be to assist the waitstaff by maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the dining area, while also providing excellent customer service. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about hospitality and enjoy working in a fast-paced setting. This is a tipped position.
Duties
- Clear and clean tables promptly after guests leave to prepare for the next customers.
- Assist waitstaff in serving food and beverages as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including floors and restrooms.
- Set up and break down dining areas for special events or catering services.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Help with the organization of utensils, glassware, and dishes in the service area.
- Provide support during busy periods to enhance overall guest satisfaction.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both guests and team members.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of service.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- A willingness to learn and adapt within a team-oriented atmosphere.
