Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Busser to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Busser plays a crucial role in ensuring a clean and welcoming dining experience for our guests. This position involves supporting the waitstaff by maintaining cleanliness and organization within the dining area, assisting with table settings, and providing excellent customer service.
Duties
- Clear and reset tables promptly after guests leave to prepare for the next customers.
- Assist servers by delivering food and beverages as needed, ensuring timely service.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including floors, tables, and service stations.
- Refill water glasses and provide additional items such as utensils or condiments as requested by guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of catering events when required.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations while performing duties.
Skills
- Previous experience in food service or the food industry is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and helpful demeanor.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment within the hospitality sector.
- Knowledge of restaurant operations, including bussing techniques and kitchen protocols.
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with guests and staff alike.
- A proactive approach to assisting others in a fast-paced setting, demonstrating a willingness to help where needed.
