Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Busser to join our team. As a Busser, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests. Your primary responsibility will be to assist the waitstaff and maintain cleanliness in the dining area.
Responsibilities:
- Clearing and resetting tables promptly and efficiently
- Assisting waitstaff with delivering food and beverages to tables
- Refilling water glasses and providing additional condiments as needed
- Removing used dishes, silverware, and glassware from tables
- Cleaning and sanitizing tables, chairs, and dining area
- Assisting with restocking supplies such as napkins, straws, and utensils
- Collaborating with the kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow
- Responding promptly to guest requests and concerns
- Providing excellent customer service by being attentive, friendly, and helpful
Skills:
- Strong hospitality skills with a genuine desire to help others
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members
- Knowledge of phone etiquette for taking reservations or addressing guest inquiries
- Familiarity with food service procedures and practices
- Experience working in a hotel or restaurant setting is preferred
- Proficiency in using POS systems, such as Aloha POS, is a plus
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail to ensure cleanliness and orderliness
