The Runner/Busser plays a vital role in ensuring smooth restaurant operations by assisting servers, delivering food to tables, clearing dishes, and maintaining cleanliness. This position requires teamwork, efficiency, and a strong attention to detail.
1. Physical Stamina
- Ability to stand/walk for long periods and carry heavy trays or dishes.
2. Teamwork & Communication
- Work collaboratively with servers, kitchen staff, and hosts.
- Basic English communication skills (additional languages a plus).
3. Efficiency & Multitasking
- Quickly deliver food to correct tables and assist with table turnover.
- Prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
4. Cleanliness Standards
- Clear tables promptly, reset with utensils/napkins, and maintain dining area cleanliness.
- Follow health/safety protocols.
5. Flexibility
- Willingness to assist with side duties (refilling drinks, stocking supplies, etc.).
6. Experience Necessary
- Training provided, but prior food service experience is a plus.
7. Professionalism
- Positive attitude, neat appearance, and customer-focused mindset.
