SUMMARY
As a Buyer, you develop excellent professional relationships that lead to the procurement of quality supplies and efficient inventory levels for the hospital.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Resource Cultivation. Research the marketplace and study trends to stay in tune with supplier changes or product offerings; ensure contact pricing is consistent with purchase orders and invoices; review and approve invoices
Supplier Relations. Develop professional relationships with both customers and suppliers; interview and educate incumbent suppliers on accepted business practices prior to agreeing to business; ensure suppliers adhere to protocols, ethical standards and uninterrupted supply of inventory as ordered
Inventory Management. Review all new product requests and open orders; support system maintenance by entering information into ERP

Bachelors Degree preferred, or
Relevant progressively responsible procurement experience
Supply Chain Management Operations Knowledge
MMIS / ERP Application Proficiency
Proficient in all applications of Microsoft Office
