Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our Cabinet Shop team. This position involves working with various materials and tools to create high-quality cabinetry, countertops and related products. The ideal candidate will have experience in plastic laminate with general cabinet construction and fabrication experience.
Duties
- Able to work with 3-4 team members in a shop setting.
- Able to be on time and work a 40+ hour work week.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools safely and effectively for cutting, shaping, and finishing materials. All power tools are provided.
- Collaborate with project coordinators and team members on the manufacturing and fabrication process of cabinetry and countertops while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Plastic Laminate methods in countertop fabrication and frameless cabinetry.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations while operating equipment and working on-site.
Qualifications
- Experience and the confidence in working with plastic laminate.
- Experience in the understanding of cabinet fabrication and manufacturing.
- Experience in both framed and frameless cabinetry would be a plus.
- Ability to read basic shop drawings
- Ability to operate power tools safely and efficiently.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
Our cabinet shop consists of 3-4 well rounded individuals with a passion in the woodworking and cabinetry world. With us being a smaller shop, we stay busy. Each one of us see all aspects of the manufacturing process from the raw lumber or sheet goods all the way through to preparing it for shipping. You would not doing the same thing day in and day out, you would continually be learning new tasks or enhancing you prior experience in working with and on things you may already be very familiar with.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
