At Baywood Cabinet, we specialize in high-end custom cabinetry for residential and commercial spaces. Our team of skilled designers, fabricators, and installers brings craftsmanship and creativity together to produce one-of-a-kind interiors. We're currently seeking a detail-oriented Custom Cabinet Drafter / Editor to join our team and help turn design concepts into precise shop drawings and cut lists.
Responsibilities:
- Create detailed CAD drawings and 3D renderings of custom cabinetry, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction details.
- Interpret design specifications, sketches, and architectural plans to develop accurate shop drawings.
- Edit and update existing cabinet drawings based on client changes or production feedback.
- Prepare cut lists, hardware schedules, and other production documents for fabrication.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in drafting software such as AutoCAD, Cabinet Vision, Cabnetware. An understanding of S2M for CNC file.
- Strong understanding of cabinetry construction methods, hardware, and materials.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in custom cabinetry or millwork drafting.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural plans and design drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with CNC programming and/or integration with shop equipment.
- Background in woodworking or cabinet manufacturing.
