Position Overview: We are seeking an enthusiastic and results-oriented Area Manager to oversee operations and drive revenue growth across all three Tea Monks locations in San Diego County. The Area Manager will lead with a commitment to operational excellence, team development, and outstanding customer service, ensuring each location meets its financial and service goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of three Tea Monks locations, ensuring consistency in product quality, customer service, and brand standards.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue, including promotions, upselling initiatives, and community engagement.
- Manage, train, and motivate location managers and staff to deliver exceptional guest experiences and meet performance targets.
- Monitor financial performance, including sales, costs, and profitability, and provide regular reports to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations across all locations.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns professionally, supporting staff in resolving issues with a positive and solution-oriented approach.
- Collaborate with marketing to create effective campaigns and ensure clear communication of menu details, such as toppings, to enhance customer understanding.
- Conduct regular site visits to assess performance, provide coaching, and implement operational improvements.
- Foster a positive, team-oriented culture that aligns with Tea Monks’ commitment to hospitality and community.
- Inventory management and delivering inventory when needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of management experience in a retail, restaurant, or hospitality environment, preferably in a multi-unit setting.
- 8 years of experience in Restaurant/Hospitality/Cafe Industry.
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and improving operational efficiency.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and develop teams.
- Excellent customer service skills and a passion for creating memorable guest experiences.
- Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and inventory management.
- Ability to travel between locations in San Diego County as needed.
- Knowledge of the beverage industry, particularly bubble tea, is a plus.
