Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas.
- Engage with customers to take orders, provide recommendations, and ensure a positive experience.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the cash register, including processing payments and managing change.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and practices in food handling to ensure the health and safety of customers.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of supplies and ingredients.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain efficient service during peak hours.
- Uphold company standards for quality, presentation, and customer service.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and food handling techniques.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse clientele.
- Proficient in cash handling and basic retail math for accurate transaction processing.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing time effectively.
- Experience in food service or sales is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with operating cash registers and point-of-sale systems is advantageous.
