Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Cannabis Cultivator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for horticulture and a strong understanding of plant care, particularly in the cannabis industry. This role involves working both indoors and outdoors, maintaining the health and growth of cannabis plants from seed to harvest. The Cannabis Cultivator will play a crucial role in ensuring a high-quality product while adhering to industry regulations and best practices.
Duties
- Cultivate cannabis plants through various stages of growth, ensuring optimal conditions for health and yield.
- Utilize hand tools for planting, pruning, and harvesting cannabis plants.
- Implement irrigation systems to provide adequate water supply to the plants.
- Perform regular inspections of plants to identify pests, diseases, or nutrient deficiencies.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the greenhouse and outdoor cultivation areas.
- Assist in the setup and maintenance of greenhouse environments, including temperature, humidity, and light levels.
- Engage in heavy lifting tasks related to planting, moving pots, or transporting harvested materials.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to cultivation schedules.
Skills
- Proven experience in growing plants, particularly in landscape or farm settings.
- Proficiency with hand tools used in horticulture and landscaping.
- Ability to irrigate effectively using various watering techniques.
- Physical capability for heavy lifting and outdoor work under varying weather conditions.
- Mechanical knowledge related to greenhouse equipment operation and maintenance.
- Familiarity with lawn care practices that can be applied to cannabis cultivation.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow specific cultivation protocols.
