Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to join our team. As a Caregiver, you will provide essential assistance and support to individuals in need. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
Duties:
-Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Provide assistance with meal preparation and medication reminders
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversations with clients
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as tidying up living spaces and doing laundry
-Assist with grocery shopping
- Accompany clients to appointments or outings as needed
- Monitor and report any changes in client's condition or behavior
- Provide emotional support and promote independence for clients
- Follow all resident rights policies and procedures
- Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia or memory loss
Hours: Times can be changed as long as daily hours are fulfilled.
- Monday to Friday: 10:00am - 3:00pm
- Saturday: 10:00am - 4:00pm
- Sunday: 10:00am - 4:30pm
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of social work principles and practices is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as needed
- Familiarity with assisted living or nursing home settings is beneficial
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients
- Compassionate, patient, and understanding demeanor
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
