Job Summary
As a Caregiver, you will be responsible for providing essential care and support to individuals in need, particularly those with disabilities or requiring specialized assistance.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities in a group home setting
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs and restrictions
- Monitor and report changes in residents' health, behavior, and emotional well-being
- Provide assistance with personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing
- Implement care plans tailored to each resident's specific needs
- Perform patient monitoring and ensure safety at all times
- Engage residents in activities that promote physical and mental stimulation
- Administer CPR or first aid when necessary
- Support individuals with dementia care as needed
Skills
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in a nursing home environment is preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required
- Proficient in meal preparation and cooking nutritious meals
- Knowledge of creating and implementing care plans
- Certification in CPR is a plus
- Compassionate and patient demeanor when interacting with residents
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
