Caregiver

Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of care. The ideal candidate will have experience in various caregiving settings, including home health. As a Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting with daily activities and ensuring their safety and comfort.

Duties

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Provide patient observation and monitoring to ensure safety and well-being.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning and cooking.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, including light housekeeping tasks.
• Medication Reminders.
• Support clients with mobility needs, including the use of Hoyer lifts when necessary.
• Engage clients in social activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, particularly those with Alzheimer's or dementia care needs.
• Document vital signs and any changes in client conditions accurately while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

Requirements

• Previous experience in caregiving roles such as home health aide, nursing assistant, or direct support professional is preferred.
• Knowledge of first aid, CPR, and patient monitoring techniques is essential.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is a plus.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by client needs.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
• Familiarity with cleaning protocols and maintaining a hygienic living space for clients.
