About the Role

Based in Atlanta, GA, USA, the Cargo Sales Manager will manage direct cargo sales and marketing activities within the assigned territory. The role is responsible for achieving revenue targets, developing strategic customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and leading commercial initiatives that support Qatar Airways Cargo's growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Structure and implement business and marketing plans to optimize cargo revenue and market presence.
• Develop and maintain long-term strategic relationships with local and regional customers.
• Negotiate pricing initiatives aligned with revenue targets and commercial objectives.
• Meet and exceed established cargo revenue targets within the assigned territory.
• Conduct regular sales meetings with freight forwarders and maintain an active customer database.
• Analyze market conditions, trends, competitive activity, and business opportunities, providing appropriate recommendations.
• Promote Qatar Airways Cargo products and ensure high levels of customer service and support.
• Manage and guide General Sales Agents (GSAs) to ensure commercial objectives are achieved.
• Monitor market share, traffic movements, and competitor performance, implementing corrective actions where required.
• Provide regular sales reporting and support revenue budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking.
