We are seeking a skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various construction tasks and have the ability to work collaboratively on diverse projects. This role requires a hands-on approach to building, repairing, and maintaining docks while ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform construction tasks including framing, decking and roofing instalation.
- Fabricate custom components as needed for various projects.
- Install metal roofing, wood, composite, concrete and aluminum decking with precision and care.
- Assist in electrical installations as required by project specifications.
- Restore and renovate existing structures to meet updated standards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
Requirements
- Proven experience in carpentry or labor-intensive roles within the construction industry.
- Familiarity with construction estimating techniques is preferred.
- Proficient in fixture installation, door hanging, siding, roofing, stucco application, and metal stud framing.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Must possess physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks effectively.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $27.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
