Morning Star is seeking a Case Manager to support children in our Behavioral Rehabilitation Services (BRS) Program If you are passionate about helping vulnerable youth, have a background in social services, and experience with Washington State reporting requirements then we would love to meet you!

Summary

The Case Manager is responsible for coordinating care services for clients in Morning Star’s residential BRS program. This includes supporting pre-intake, intake, discharge planning, and ongoing services. The Case Manager works closely with youth, families, social workers, and other providers to develop and implement individualized safety and treatment plans.

This role requires a trauma-informed, strength-based approach and includes regular direct interaction with clients.

Education and Experience:

· Master’s degree in social services or a closely related field; or

· Bachelor’s degree in social services or a closely related field; and

· Two (2) years of documented experience working with children or youth in one of or a combination of the following settings:

o Mental Health Hospital;

o Juvenile Rehabilitation facility, detention center, law enforcement, or corrections; or

o A child placing agency or a residential care program in a case management or similar position working with at-risk families and youth.

· Associate’s degree in social services or a closely related field and three (3) years of documented experience working with children or youth in one of or a combination of the following settings:

o Mental Health Hospital;

o Juvenile Rehabilitation facility, detention center, law enforcement, or corrections; or

o A child placing agency or a residential care program in a case management or similar position working with at-risk families and youth.

· High school diploma or equivalent credential and four (4) years of documented experience working with children or youth in one of or a combination of the following settings:

o Mental Health Hospital;

o Juvenile Rehabilitation facility, detention center, law enforcement, or corrections; or

o A child placing agency or a residential care program in a case management or similar position working with at-risk families and youth.

Pay: $23.00-$26.50 per hour, depending on education and experience
