GREAT POSITION FOR RECENT OR SOON-TO-BE COLLEGE GRADUATES
County Caseworkers work with families and children with abuse and neglect issues to provide case management services and ensure the county is in compliance with child welfare regulations, including the investigation of child abuse reports. Responsibilities include working with community partners to link families to the appropriate resources to assure the safety and well being of children and strengthen our shared communities. Caseworkers interact with a variety of people and situations that are both challenging and rewarding. Must be able to perform the essential elements of the job.
Work Schedule: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm (M-F) with a 1 hour lunch
**The position requires an on call rotation (about 3 nights/per month) and occasional non traditional hours**
