We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and be adept at handling cash transactions. As a Cashier, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive shopping experience for our customers while ensuring accurate and efficient processing of sales.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service throughout their shopping experience.
• Accurately process cash, credit, and debit transactions using the cash register.
• Handle cash with precision, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly.
• Assist in supervising junior staff members when necessary, providing guidance and support.
• Demonstrate product knowledge to customers through effective product demos and recommendations.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area to enhance the shopping environment.
• Communicate effectively with customers to address inquiries or resolve issues promptly.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and improve overall store performance.

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
• Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail in managing transactions.
• Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing and change calculation.
• Proficiency in operating cash registers and point-of-sale systems.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customers.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
• A willingness to learn about products and services offered in the store.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.22 per hour
