Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with their shopping needs.
- Process transactions efficiently using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while ensuring accuracy in cash handling.
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and product offerings to effectively sell and upsell items.
- Assist in stocking shelves and organizing merchandise to enhance the retail environment.
- Supervise junior staff members as needed, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly with excellent phone etiquette.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive store atmosphere.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service or retail sales is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
- Experience with cash handling and familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills are essential for success in this role.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
