Job Summary
As the Catering Manager for a premier corporate client, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful operations of all catering services. Outstanding hospitality, a focus on hands- on daily event management, and relationship building are requirements to be successful in this role.
This position is generally Monday through Friday.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage and execute catered services/ events
- Works closely with the kitchen and culinary staff to create menus and provide outstanding service to a diverse group of guests
- Directly manages 2 catering attendants. Trains associates in service techniques, menu presentation, and customer service.
- Communicates on various levels to include management, client, customer and associate levels; maintains excellent client relationships.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of food service experience including 1 year of leadership experience.
- Catering experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, health care, and/or related food service operations.
- Knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation.
- Proficient computer and communication skills.
