The Catering Sales Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing and managing all aspects of catering operations. This position requires a dynamic individual who can lead a team, develop strong client relationships, and ensure exceptional service delivery. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales management and customer service, with the ability to engage effectively with clients to drive business growth and enhance customer satisfaction.
Catering Sales Managers are responsible for these among other important daily objectives:
· Prospecting, Canvassing & Sales-Building, through direct face-to-face marketing with business professionals.
· Management of leads and catering orders arriving through all avenues of technology; email, online website, telephone, etc; utilizing CRM tools to nurture leads.
· Working with their GM & District/Regional Manager to identify zip codes, target businesses, and industries for potential growth.
· As the 'Face' of our company, the Catering Sales Manager is directly involved with Customer Relations. The relationship development and trust is a huge part of our volume success.
· Executing Food Presentations in front of the customer to close the sale.
· Planning & Organizing a strong sales plan on a weekly basis, involving thorough and timely follow up on potential business.
