Double B's BQQ seeking a dedicated and passionate Caterer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional food service and guest experiences at various events, including banquets, weddings, and corporate functions. This role requires a strong understanding of food handling and safety practices, as well as excellent guest relations skills to ensure that every event is memorable and enjoyable.
Duties
- Prepare and present high-quality food items in accordance with established recipes and standards.
- Set up and break down catering events, ensuring all equipment is functioning properly.
- Provide outstanding guest services by interacting positively with attendees and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the catering area, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during events.
- Assist in menu planning and development based on client preferences and dietary restrictions.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages to management.
Skills
- Proficient in food handling techniques and knowledgeable about food safety standards.
- Strong guest services skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and attendees.
- Experience in culinary arts or catering preferred, with a focus on banquet-style service.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with team members and guests.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
