Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor Associate (CDCA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing support and guidance to individuals struggling with substance use disorders. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work effectively in a clinical environment, facilitating recovery through various therapeutic methods. This position reports to the Clinical Director.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine individual needs and treatment goals.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
- Facilitate group therapy sessions, promoting a supportive environment for shared experiences.
- Engage in psychotherapy sessions with patients, utilizing evidence-based practices.
- Collect and maintain accurate data related to patient progress and treatment outcomes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated care for patients.
- Participate in clinical research initiatives aimed at improving treatment methodologies.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines in all interactions.
Skills
- Proficient in data collection methods for effective patient tracking and reporting.
- Experience facilitating group therapy sessions and conducting outpatient therapy.
- Knowledge of psychopharmacology as it relates to substance use disorders.
- Ability to assess and treat children experiencing substance-related issues is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with clinical research processes and methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with patients and their families.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
