Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and friendly Certified Dental Assistant with Front desk experience to join our dental clinic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for taking x-rays, Assisting doctors, prepare rooms, managing front desk operations, ensuring a welcoming environment for patients, and facilitating smooth communication between patients and dental staff. The position will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency of the clinic while providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Taking X-rays, Assisting Doctors, sterilization, prepare opetory rooms.
- Greet patients warmly as they arrive at the clinic and assist them with check-in procedures.
- Schedule and confirm appointments using dental management systems such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft.
- Manage patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Handle incoming calls, answer inquiries, and provide information regarding services offered.
- Process patient payments and manage billing inquiries effectively.
- Assist dental staff with administrative tasks as needed, including coordinating medical imaging and X-Ray appointments.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area to enhance the patient experience.
- Stay updated on dental terminology, procedures, and clinic policies to provide accurate information to patients.
Requirements
- Certification in Dental assisting is mandatory with minimum of 2 years experience.
- Experience in a similar role within a dental clinic is preferred.
- Familiarity with dental management software is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of anatomy, dental terminology, and medical imaging processes is beneficial.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism at all times.
- A positive attitude towards learning new systems and adapting to changes in the workplace.

Pay: $23.50 - $33.00 per hour
