Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented, compassionate, and organized Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for both administrative and clinical tasks, traveling to patients’ homes and/or medical facilities, while ensuring the utmost patient care and satisfaction.
***Please note that this job is a temp, 1099 position.***
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Duties:
- Check vital signs.
- Review medical history.
- Address chief complaints.
- Administer medications and vaccinations as directed.
- Perform EKGs, wound care, and other diagnostic tests.
Administrative Duties:
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow.
- Maintain and update electronic health records (EHRs).
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and route messages.
- Handle correspondence, billing, and medical documentation.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
- Certification (CMA, RMA, or CCMA) is strongly preferred.
- 1+ years of experience in a medical office or clinic is a plus.
- CPR / AED preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and EMR systems preferred.

Work Environment:
- Traveling to patients located in their homes or medical facilities.
- May require standing for extended periods and some lifting.
- May involve exposure to bloodborne pathogens and other health hazards.
Pay rate: $20.00 per hour with mileage reimbursement.
