Peer/Youth Support Specialists use their lived recovery experience from a mental health diagnosis and specific specialist training to assist adults and youth with defining their goals for recovery and develop a recovery plan. They also assist with developing the skills for proactive role in their own treatment plan and to help Members connect with other Members and with their self-defined community.
Peer/Youth Support Specialists will have a caseload of clients and be able to meet with each client on average of 2 hours per week. They will also have weekly supervision with Center Counseling staff.
Applicant must be a Certified Peer Support Specialist. Youth Support Certification recommended.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
