Job Summary
Are you ready to join a close-knit team in a growing and dynamic tax services firm? RMP is seeking an experienced, motivated, and detail-oriented CPA to join our tax services team. This position focuses on serving high-net-worth clients with complex tax situations. Candidates must be prepared to work extended hours during peak tax seasons.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and prepare federal and multistate tax returns for individuals, businesses, trusts, and exempt organizations.
- Research complex matters for Individual, Business, Trust, and Exempt Organization tax returns.
- Supervise and train less experienced staff in all areas of taxation.
- Schedule and complete recurring tasks efficiently.
- Assist with other duties as assigned by management.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency with CCH Axcess tax preparation software (preferred) or similar programs.
- Experience with QuickBooks accounting software is a plus.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently with professionalism and ease.
- Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Commitment to confidentiality and the highest level of professionalism.
- Willingness to work overtime, including during peak tax seasons.
- Team-oriented mindset with a positive, collaborative attitude.
Required Certifications:
- CPA with active license
- Seasoned CPA having recently worked in a high-level tax practice.
Salary Range:
$90,000 – $130,000
- Salary commensurate with experience
